About the Role
About MEJOR Technologies
MEJOR Technologies is a Dutch SaaS startup with a clear mission: reducing wildfire damage and improving safety during critical operations. Using AI, geospatial data, and drone technology, we build software that supports emergency services, governments, and land managers in prevention, monitoring, and incident management.
Our Products
CHRIS – Real-time incident mapping and operational support for emergency services
LUCI – Wildfire forecasting, predictive analytics, and prevention tools
Together, they enable data-driven decision-making to safeguard people and ecosystems.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of software development, AI, and geospatial technology. You’ll play a key role in both LUCI and CHRIS, transforming complex datasets into scalable software solutions with direct impact on safety and environmental management.
You’re a technically strong engineer comfortable with Python, data processing, and backend development. While prior drone, remote sensing, or GIS experience is not mandatory, enthusiasm for using GIS, drone data, and predictive modeling to fight wildfires is essential.
You’ll collaborate closely with a small, highly capable team—including a ML/Data Science Engineer, CTO, and CEO—to build innovative features deployed daily in real-world operations.
Responsibilities
LUCI
Develop AI and machine learning solutions for predictive forecasting.
Work with geospatial datasets and GIS information.
Design and implement models for risk analysis and prediction.
