About the Role
Description
Mora, located in the heart of Dalarna, is the northern Dalarna hub for business, trade, administration, and infrastructure. Nestled between the shimmering waters of Lake Siljan and the blue hills, Mora offers year-round seasons, abundant attractions, and excellent services. Mora Municipality leads regional development and is actively strengthening its already robust position. The municipality employs approximately 1,800 staff across diverse competencies.
Responsibilities
The Technical and Service Administration is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of streets, urban networks, public spaces, land, forests, municipal sports and leisure facilities, municipal properties, meal services, the municipal vehicle fleet, and temporary staffing for municipal operations. As a member of our team, you share our core values—rooted in a positive attitude, personal accountability, and a citizen-centered focus. Health and development are integral parts of our employees’ work life.
The Infrastructure Unit manages and develops roads, streets, parks, land, and urban networks. It implements the municipality’s investment projects in construction, civil engineering, and land development, as well as smaller projects funded by ongoing investment resources.
We are now seeking a documentation officer for our GIS and NIS systems, primarily responsible for documentation within the unit’s systems and some handling of customer cases related to streets and parks.
In this role, you will:
Maintain and manage the unit’s documentation and systems.
Provide support to colleagues within the department.
Assist in handling customer inquiries and cases.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education (e.g., YH education), relevant work experience, or other qualifications deemed relevant by the employer. Experience with documentation in GIS and/or NIS systems is required. Experience with traffic-related issues and customer contact is meritorious. A valid Swedish Class B driver’s license is mandatory.
We seek a collaborative colleague who can build trust and cooperation through strong interpersonal skills. You gain energy from supporting customers and colleagues. You demonstrate a sense of responsibility, work in a structured and service-oriented manner, and efficiently prioritize and plan your own work over both short- and long-term horizons. Additionally, we expect you to take initiative in development and contribute with engagement and a positive attitude.
The recruitment process is ongoing.
