We offer a permanent full-time position starting as soon as possible as a:
GIS, Low-Code & RPA Developer (m/f/d)
In this role, you will be responsible for the conception, implementation, and operation of specialized applications for the district administration. You will empower departments to design administrative processes more efficiently and citizen-friendly—through software-based solutions, automation, and GIS functionality.
Our Diverse Task Portfolio Includes:
Independently analyzing requirements, coordinating them with business units, documenting them, and evaluating solution options
Implementing applications using low-code platforms and RPA tools
Managing development and test environments
Creating documentation and conducting user training
Developing, maintaining, and optimizing GIS-based applications using ESRI ArcGIS (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, ArcGIS Server)
Integrating geospatial data and ETL processes (e.g., FME, Safe Software)
Evaluating new technologies (AI, RPA, data integration) for administrative relevance
Planning, steering, and reporting internal software projects
Coordinating stakeholders and applying appropriate project methodologies (agile/classical)
Ensuring functional and non-functional requirements, including data archiving and information security (ISO 27001 compliance)
Conducting release and regression testing (e.g., major/minor releases) and managing changes
Analyzing and resolving incidents and service requests in business-specific software to ensure stable operations
What You Bring:
Completed university degree in computer science, geoinformatics, or administrative IT (minimum Bachelor’s; Master’s preferred) or a comparable technical qualification with at least 3 years of professional experience
Strong programming and database skills, along with understanding of processes and process modeling
Experience in requirements analysis, prototyping, and interface design
Up-to-date knowledge of modern technologies (e.g., AI, RPA, web development), REST APIs, geospatial data processing (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS), and data integration (e.g., FME, Safe Software)
Solid experience with RPA technologies and low-code platforms
Solid knowledge of classical and agile project management
Strong IT service management skills

Salary according to qualification and experience up to pay grade E 11 of the TVöD (public sector collective agreement)
