Senior GIS Data Platform Architect

Job Description TiTANS België is looking for an experienced GIS architect to define and anchor the GIS architecture within the broader enterprise data architecture. The role demands strategic thinking and deep technical expertise in GIS environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop a future-oriented GIS architecture strategy Define integration patterns and standards for GIS systems Establish core GIS architecture principles and governance Create a comprehensive GIS architecture roadmap Ensure alignment between GIS and enterprise data architecture Provide expertise on data platforms and cloud-based architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Requirements Proven experience as a GIS architect or senior GIS specialist Strong understanding of modern GIS technologies (e.g., Esri stack, open-source GIS tools) Solid knowledge of data engineering, data modeling, and cloud platforms Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable GIS data platforms Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
