Company: IKONS ITALIA Position: Senior Software Architect / Lead Engineer – Geospatial Analytics Platform We are looking for a Senior Software Architect / Lead Engineer to work on a cloud-native Geospatial Analytics platform leveraging GIS technologies, Microsoft Azure, and advanced data analytics. The solution integrates interactive maps, geospatial data, dynamic KPIs, and advanced territorial analysis features to support strategic business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design and drive the architectural evolution of the platform. Develop and optimize cloud-native microservices. Collaborate on building analytical dashboards and geospatial features. Support integration with GIS systems, data pipelines, and cloud services. Enhance performance, scalability, security, and observability of the solution. Required Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in enterprise software development and microservices architectures. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring/Quarkus, and REST APIs. Hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with React and TypeScript. Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, and distributed systems. Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise or other GIS platforms. Experience with Databricks, Spark, DBT, and Kafka. Background in geospatial analytics, retail intelligence, or real estate projects.
