Support Engineer (m/f/d) for CAD/GIS Software Solutions

Barthauer Software GmbH develops software solutions for above- and below-ground infrastructure. Our extensive customer base includes engineering firms, public utilities, municipal service providers, energy companies, industrial enterprises, and airports. To support our customer service team, we are looking for a communicative Support Engineer (m/f/d) for CAD/GIS software solutions at our Braunschweig and Lauda-Königshofen locations.
Your Responsibilities
Receiving and documenting all IT-, software-, and engineering-related customer inquiries
Analyzing and tracking customer requests, and developing practical solutions
Conducting user training sessions and online seminars
Documenting your solutions in our customer portals
Your Qualifications
Completed engineering degree, technical training as a technician, or equivalent qualification
Proficient use of CAD software and/or GIS systems; familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server/Oracle) is a plus
Knowledge and experience in urban water management, hydraulic calculation software, and/or utility supply/waste management is advantageous
Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for direct customer interaction, combined with a team-oriented approach
Creativity and ingenuity in solving technical and analytical problems, curiosity, and the ability to quickly acquire new knowledge
Strong written and spoken German and English
