Founded in 2015 in Rennes by three space-enthusiast brothers, the company now employs 140 people and operates a constellation of 23 satellites capable of detecting, geolocating, and characterizing vessels emitting radiofrequency signals.
Job Description
Reporting to the Marketing & Product team, you will play a central role in structuring, analyzing, and visually valorizing our geospatial data.
Data Management & Preparation
Create, structure, organize, and maintain geospatial and non-geospatial datasets.
Validate, clean, and manipulate data to make it usable by business teams.
Collaborate closely with Analysis and Production teams and contribute to defining data management best practices.
Spatial & Geospatial Analysis
Conduct spatial analyses for marketing purposes and produce documents to support sales activities.
Integrate diverse geospatial data sources to generate new indicators, in coordination with the Platform Fusion Product Manager.
Mapping & Visualization
Design maps tailored to analytical, presentation, marketing, and commercial support needs.
Produce visualizations that make complex data accessible to internal and external audiences.
Showcase the company’s capabilities and data assets through compelling visual content.
SIG Tool Development & Automation
Design and develop GIS tools to automate tasks and improve team productivity.
Use Python and/or no-code/low-code solutions as appropriate.
Collaborate with technical teams to integrate these tools into existing workflows.
User Training & Support
Develop training materials and documentation for SIG tools and methodologies.
Support teams in adopting new tools and disseminating best practices.
Profile Sought
Education: Master’s degree or engineering school diploma (Bac+5) specializing in GIS, geomatics, or spatial data analysis.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in standard geospatial tools (advanced QGIS, ArcGIS; intermediate PostgreSQL/SQL; Python skills preferred).
- Strong ability to manipulate, clean, and structure complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of cartographic best practices and visual rendering.
- Experience creating GIS training materials.
- Ability to develop GIS tools (in Python or no-code) for automation or analytical support.
- Good understanding of geopolitical issues.
- Experience in a confidential environment is highly valued.
