Position: Technical GIS System Administrator – Long-Term Consulting Assignment
Locations: Gothenburg, Stockholm, or Lund
Do you have solid experience with ArcGIS and thrive at the intersection of technology, business operations, and system administration? We are now looking for a Technical GIS System Administrator for a long-term consulting assignment with a large Swedish real estate company, where you will play a central role in managing and further developing the organization’s geospatial data platform.
About the Assignment
In the role of Technical GIS System Administrator, you will have both coordinating and operational responsibility for a geospatial data platform based on ArcGIS, with dependencies on systems such as FME and CAD-based tools. You will work closely with the business, IT organization, and external system vendors, ensuring the platform remains stable, secure, and delivers tangible value to the business.

Long-term need extending through 2027, with potential for extension
Location options: Gothenburg, Stockholm, or Lund
Key Responsibilities
You will handle both ongoing platform administration and continued development:
Manage system operations and plan maintenance and upgrades
Coordinate efforts between business units, IT, and system vendors
Handle, report on, and follow up support and system-related cases
Support users through training and troubleshooting
Prioritize and implement system changes based on business needs
Configure systems, manage cartography, and maintain content
Contribute to quality assurance, updating, and further development of data and information in the platform
Work with integrations and data flows between ArcGIS and other systems, including FME
Participate in or lead smaller change initiatives within your area of responsibility
This role combines technical system administration with business-aligned work and continuous information management.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and extensive experience with ArcGIS, as well as an understanding of how geospatial data is used in daily operations. You should have solid IT skills and be able to quickly grasp system architecture, integrations, and data flows.
We consider it a plus if you have:
Solid experience with ArcGIS
Experience with FME and ETL workflows
Understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data flows
Experience with system administration, troubleshooting, and requirements gathering
Ability to drive your own area of responsibility and lead smaller change initiatives
Very good Swedish, both written and spoken
Meritorious qualifications include:
Experience from the real estate sector
Prior experience implementing or administering ArcGIS from both IT and business perspectives
Experience with content management and cartography
